Smart cities represent the latest vision for solving some of our most complex challenges, such as climate change, pollution, social equality and economic stability. New technologies offer up the potential to implement new, smart solutions to intractable urban problems. However, Government leadership is needed to make the smart city concept a reality.
The White Paper aims to evaluate the barriers holding back the smart city project and to provide industry-led expertise to suggest ways to enable the delivery of sustainable, resilient smart communities in the UK that are fit for the future.
